| Being a PR person, I feel the need to clear up a misconception that many people have about me. This being that I work for Disney. That is false. While the name "dizboy" may seem to imply it, I do not work for The Walt Disney Company, nor any of its subsidiaries. I do, however, work for the Universal Orlando Resort, part of the NBC-Universal family. Contrary to popular belief outside the state of Florida, Universal Orlando, consisting of two theme parks (Universal Studios Florida and Universal's Islands of Adventure), a nighttime entertainment complex (Universal CityWalk), and three on-site resorts (Portofino Bay Hotel, Hard Rock Hotel, Royal Pacific Resort), is not, nor has it ever been owned or affiliated with Disney in any way, shape or form. I did work for Walt Disney World for six years, for the better part of my late teen's and early twenty's, however those days are long in the past, and I am far more content to be away from the turmoil which has erupted at Mouse House in the last few years. So, to sum up: 1. I do not work for Disney. 2. I actually felt the need to craft an entry about it. Spread the word. -John |
