NYC Update Day 3: I'm on holiday and so is the sun.
Written on 2001-08-11, at 12:15 p.m.
dizboy's disturbing daily diet...

Well, nothing really. But I'm about to go out to lunch.

I promise.

Well, the heat finally broke, but now it's very overcast and drizzling. It's a little cooler, but the air is very moist, I feel like I'm back in Florida.

So...there are a few things that I notice are distinctly different between New York City, and Orlando.

1. In New York, it costs $35 for a cab ride from JFK to anywhere in Manhattan. In Orlando, it costs $35 for a cab ride from one side of the street to the other.

2. In New York, there are giant rats. In Orlando, there are giant mice.

3. In New York, there are many cultural attractions. In Orlando, there are many theme parks.

4. In New York, there are 50 Starbucks within a two mile radius. In Orlando, there are 50 Starbucks within a two mile radius.

Ah well, it's lunchtime...

Be well...
